The pro elastic ballet shoe by Bloch in flesh is an innovative take on a split sole canvas ballet flat, developed for interdisciplinary work: lyrical, jazz, ballet, and gymnastics.  

It has an upper like a ballet flat but in place of a binding and drawstring it has an elastic piece that contours to the foot in a full range of movement. 

This pre-sewn flat soft elastic is ideal for floor work where the top of the foot is in contact with the floor, eliminating bruising from pressure where the drawstring is knotted. 

The elastic also evenly distributes tension around the foot relieving pressure on the Achilles tendon.

Bloch recommends choosing two sizes down from your women's street shoe size. For Tweens/youth they recommend choosing the same size as your street shoe size.
